Sinopsis Novel Abduction by Robin Cook

Disini saya akan menuliskan sinopsis novel dari seorang pengarang yang terkenal!

He is Mr. Robin Cook dengan karyanya yaitu "Abduction." Mr. Cook adalah seorang dokter dan novelis yang menulis tentang obat dan topik-topik yang mempengaruhi kesehatan masyarakat. Mr. Cook terkenal dengan kemampuannya untuk mengkombinasikan antara ilmu kesehatan dengan karya sastra yang bergenre thriller. Berikut ini adalah sinopsis dari salah satu novelnya:

ABDUCTION

The story began when the corporation is under intense pressure from stakeholders after a huge amount has been invested without any positive results. For speeding result,  a team of researchers and the presidentin a remote region dive into the underwater to drill through and injecting gas or liquid to an underwater mountain, they were out in search of oil, and according to reports, the oil is right under the sea. On their way, they have some problems. Perry Bergman, the founder and president of Benthic Marine decided to checking where the problems come from. All of sudden, the small ship seems to lose power and is lured deeper into the water and into the underwater world of Saranta. By chance, they fall down from a cliff and want to investigate the depth of the location. They keep going down when an earthquake occurs. They rise due to the warm water when they find themselves in a pitch black location. ( like going inside an inverted cup) As they slowly explore the surroundings, they realize that they are not alone, but all the time think it to be a Russian or other research center. To their surprise, they wake up as hostages and displayed as the new exhibits in the new world. As they gain information regarding their surroundings, they come to know that the interterran society is almost similar to Atlantis (being a sistercity!) and they have been trying to guide the human race many times, unsuccessfully. Hence they have decided to stay away from humans altogether. The rest of the story is about the interterran life and how a few of the oceanographers try to get away after committing a few murders in their lust. A few concepts of the interterran society. There is no death. The visual knowledge of a lifetime is captured from a person before they die. This knowledge is injected to a new form and the child grows up wiser from past experience. The experiences are modified according to the child's requirements. That mean's the child has the memory of all past events.They hold hands after rubbing some substance for the essence of sexual pleasure. They have servants quarters occupied by Neanderthal man. These people stay below the floors to serve the interterrans. The interterrans do not believe in killing. They believe in deporting people back in time. If they were so advanced, they could definitely have manipulated us humans to suit their needs.
